Dirt mounds in my lawn

Zone Knoxville, Tennessee | [email protected] added on August 24, 2017 | Answered

I live in the Southeast. I have started seeing dirt mounds in my yard. The hole are very small. Is this an insect? Sorry, I don't have a picture.

It's difficult to say, it could be small rodents or even wasps.

You can send us an image.
You can also check with your County Extension Office for information on lawn pest issues for your region.
