Q.Difference Between Star And Nite Blooming Jasmine
is there a difference

Certified GKH Gardening Expert
Yes, there is a difference. Night-blooming jasmine (Cestrum nocturnum) is not a jasmine at all. It is a jessamine plant in the nightshade family, Solanaceae. Its clusters of tubular, white-green flowers open at night, emitting its perfumed scent.
Star jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides), also called confederate jasmine, is in the Apocynaceae family. Its fragrant flowers are shaped like white stars.
