I am new in gardenning. I need help in learning how to help our new 5-year-old willow tree that we just recently planted. We leave in New Mexico, planted tree according to the recommendation. I need to know how much water this tree needs after transplant and for how long it would be on that water regimin? At this point we water it 3 times a week 40 minutes each on dripping system, 1 gallon per hour. Also, this tree started dropping its flowers. Is it normal? Thank you in advance for your advice.
Sincerely,
Mila

Newly planted trees require lots of water while they establish their roots, usually within the first couple weeks. These articles should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/tgen/watering-newly-planted-tree.htm
