Daffodils

Q.Daffodils did not appear this year!

For many years I have had several hundred come up and each year have added more and removed ‘blind’ ones. Tulips are intermixed as well. These have appeared and in flower, but only about 12 daffs have appeared and these are on the edge of the area! Thank you.

The most common reason for this is that the daffodils have become too crowded and need to be divided. The fact that those on the edge of the area have come up implies that this could be the problem. There are other possibilities, discussed in the following articles:
