Q.Cucumber and Japanese beetles
How can I try to rid my garden areas of Japanese and cucumber beetles? They completely devastated one of my chrysanthemum plants along with a rose plant and my pumpkins, watermelons and cucumbers, even a stand of Cleome plants. I am going to clean it all up but need tips on what to do now and again in spring.

Japanese beetles and cucumber beetles can be tough pests. I used to have good luck with bag traps containing an attractant for Japanese beetles. There is also something called Milky Spore, a biological control that kills Japanese beetles. These may be available in gardening stores. These articles will give you plenty more ideas:
