Q.Cross Pollination Future Seeds

Anonymous added on May 9, 2011 | Answered

I want to try to cross pollinate similar species of pumpkins. If successful, will third-plus generations of the seeds from the fruits of those cross pollinated plants produce the hybrid, or will the plant go back to its original size, color, etc. ?

As long as the 3rd generation is created from a male and female blossom from the 2nd generation crossed variety, they should hold the characteristics.
