Q.Crickets Are Invading My House. What Can I Do?
I have planted a ground cover around my house foundation and crickets are finding ways to get into the house. What could I plant in this ground cover that would repel them and not cost too much? Or do I need to remove this ground cover and plant something else? I was thinking “garlic”!

Since they munch on plants, it probably wouldn't do any good to add to or replace the plants with another plant. The groundcover provides cover as well as food. Removing the groundcover 12 inches from the house will help (one source said 1 1/2 feet). If possible, add gravel or pebbles right up against the foundation. They also like moist areas, so cut back on watering the groundcover.
