Q.Crepe Myrtle That Doesn’t Bloom

Anonymous added on July 18, 2011 | Answered

I have 3 crepe myrtles approximately 15 ft tall each. They are approximately 10 years old. They are in direct sun–until this year I have always cut them down to 5 feet at the end of winter. This year we decided not to trim them down to see if we could get more blooms. So now we have less blooms that ever before. They just will not bloom. When I say they don’t bloom, maybe each plant will have 10 blooms. I look across the street and see one that is just covered. Any suggestions?
