Crepe Myrtle Trees

Q.Crepe Myrtle

Anonymous added on June 20, 2015 | Answered

Last year was the first time I planted crepe myrtles. This year each tree has the pods that are black in color. Do I remove these or will the tree take care of itself? It is where a new bloom would appear from and nothing was removed from the trees last year. Thanks.

You can remove these if you want or leave them. Either way is fine and will not cause any issues with the tree.
