Q.Crape Myrtle
I bought a potted crape myrtle that has 5 stems that are 1″ to 1 1/2″ in diameter each.
I don’t know whether 5 trees growing so close together is a good idea for the long run.
Can they be separated safely? They have probably been growing together in this big plastic pot for a long time
This is the appropriate growing pattern for Crepe Myrtle.
Do not attempt to separate the branching.
