Q.Container Garlic In Zone 7 On Long Island, NY

I am interested in growing garlic in a container but do not know if our winters are too cold for that. Is it safe in zone seven? Also where do you place the container after it is prepared with the garlic? Thank you so much. I just joined your newsletter. Lionel

Zone 7 is on the warmer end for garlic! With that being, said, you will want to get you garlic in the ground immediately. This is usually planted by October 15 in zone 7. Here is an article for more information:
