Zone 5 - 5b | Ann Drabing added on May 17, 2012 | Answered

What types of evergreen trees or shrubs can I plant in containers? They will get full afternoon sun. I am at about 6, 250 ft altitude. Thank you for your help.

Take a look at azaleas, rhododendrons, boxwood, juniper, and holly. There are several varieties of these shrubs that you may find appealing and they will all do fine in containers.
