Q.Concord Grape Vine Transplant Not Blooming
We followed all the directions given for our 6 vines that are 5-6 yrs old to transplant them and only 1 vine is budding the others are not. We live in Saginaw, MI. Never had an issue and every year we’ve had 1,000’s of grapes. Any suggestions on how to fix? I bought the correct fertilizer as well. I water once a week as your site suggests. Please help Thank you, Michelle K.

Make sure to ALWAYS test your soils before feeding to be sure that one nutrient is not built up over another. This can create issues with uptake. Another thing that I would, personally, recommend would be to measure soil moisture before watering. Often, in areas where rain is plentiful, it will not be necessary to water at all!
