Q.Christmas Cactus

Zone Mitchell, So. Dakota, 57301 | Anonymous added on December 30, 2016 | Answered

I have two big plants. They bloomed beautifully about Thanksgiving. I took off the blossoms, as they dried up and now they are getting more buds. I thought they only bloomed once, am I wrong? They are in my bedroom and have a north window by them.

It is not uncommon to have a 2nd bloom period, especially if kept in a dim and cool area.

Christmas Cactus tend to have a mind of their own! I have a friend who has a white variety that blooms 3 times a year!
