Q.Chard and beets

Zone 15234 | Edenfield21 added on June 4, 2018 | Answered

Any idea what is causing leaves to discolor and how I can save my chard and beets? They were growing great until now. Live in PA. Temps have been pretty high. Been getting a lot of rain too.

Yes, this is the most common issue that I am dealing with at this time of year. It is definitely rain related. This is a fungal issue caused by staying wet for too long. You can counter this using dolomitic lime and wettable sulfur.
