Care of Twist and Shout Variety of Hydrangea

Question

I was introduced to this plant this past May when given a beautiful, very healthy plant with 4 blooms for Mother’s Day. The blooms are so unique and I want to take good care of it so it blooms next spring. It did not appear to put off new growth but the blooms were pretty for many weeks. They have now died. What’s next? It is planted outside and is about 3 feet tall.
