Q.Care Of Orchid

my orchid just lost all of its blooms. it is in a medium container with orchid potting. i live in south Texas. the plant is outside under an awning. it gets about 95 degrees. should i cut the stems off down to the leaves or just let them die down? also how should i be watering it? and giving it plant food-what kind? thanks.
