Can you use fresh turkey manure on tomatoes?

Though it makes an ideal fertilizer, I would let it sit awhile before putting it directly on or around your plants, as fresh manure can burn the roots and plants themselves. You could even compost it much like you would chicken manure (or other types of poultry).
