Can You ID This Weed?

This weed grows in ground hugging patches and has small yellow flowers in the summer. I’m trying to understand it is and how to control it.

It looks like a type of sedum, which many people use as a groundcover. If you don't want it, you can easily pull it up. If it is too much to pull up, you can spray it with an herbicide that won't harm grass if it is in your lawn.
