Q.Can You Harvest Seeds To Replant From A Tomato That Had Root Knot Nematode?
If I have harvested seeds from tomato plants that were found to have RKN, would it be ok to plant those seeds for the next season, or do the RKN spread via fruit? Is it safe to use these seeds?

It is best not to use seeds from a plant that had any diseases, parasites, or disorders. Especially since your plants experienced RKN, you should use seeds the next year that are resistant to RKN. Also, do not plant tomatoes or any other plant susceptible to RKN in a garden immediately following an infestation. Some people plant French marigolds in the area, then till them under in a couple of months. Soil solarization or leaving the soil fallow for a time also can help. Here is more:
