Q.Can the Huernia (lifesaver plant) be grown outside without a pot

I live in central Ca. and it rarely reaches the freezing temp here, would this plant do well outside under one of my sego palms?

This plant is only hardy down to about 50F. IF it gets any colder than this in your area, then you will not want to plant this outdoors. You will want to keep this in container, instead.
