Q.Can Pumpkin, Cassava And Maize Be Planted Together With Cucumber, That Is Segregating Cucumber On A Portion Of Land, Cassava, Pump
kin and maize on another portion Please I have a three plots of land for cultivation. All these plots are joined together. Now I want to use one plot for cucumber farming and then the other remaining two plots for maize, cassava and pumpkin farming.
My question is can I perfectly carry out these operations, because I read online that there are crops that you need not plant together with cucumber that it might interfere with it’s pollination.
Secondly can I apply raw pig dug to my cucumber farm as a source of organic manure.
Thanks as I await your speedy response

Since cassava is a melon, it would be best to plant it far from the cucumbers. It's not so much a pollination issue, but that they attract the same insects and you could have a very large infestation. Here's a good article with suggested companion plantings: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/vgen/companion-vegetable-garden.htm
You should compost your pig manure before using it. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/composting/manures/pig-manure-compost.htm
