Can Potted Hydrangeas And Potted Clematis Be Overwintered In An Unheated Garage Without Windows? Also Some Potted Annuals?

The hydrangeas are mopheads like Endless Summer. Clematis is a large flower variety that blooms late soring, early summer. I am in Zone 6a.

The mopheads and clematis should do fine over winter in the garage. Only water them about once a month or rot could set in. The annuals would do better overwintering indoors near a window.
