Peacock Orchids

Q.Can Peacock Orchids, not planted this year, be grown indoors through the winter and/or force bloomed?

Received bulbs, early spring but was traveling so they’ve been across country and back, some actually started to sprout in the bag so was wondering if they needed to dry/rest before attempting to plant.

Thank you for sending us your gardening question. Peacock orchids are part of the gladiolus family. Since you are in a zone where they can be left inground over winter, I would plant them as soon as possible. (Not sure why you gave 2 zones, the second zone they need to be lifted for winter).
