OUR MAGNOLIA WILL NOT FLOWER WE HAVE LOVELY SHINY GREEN LEAVES BUT NO BUDS THIS IS ITS SECOND YEAR SINCE WE BOUGHT IT

They won't do well in container unless they are a dwarf cultivar made for container, and this will be especially true if the container does not have enough drain holes to allow all extra water to leave.
