Can I Use Cattle Fence Panel For A Squash Trellis?

I heard not to use cattle fencing because it will get to hot in the sun and the plants will not climb on it. However, I see alot of people using cattle fence panels to make a round trellis.

I don't see any difference between a cattle fence and a chain-link fence, and we all use chain-link fences for vines. Many people use the cattle fence to make a vegetable garden arch, which might be what you referenced.
