Q.Can I Still Run My Dehumidifier In My Basement If I Am Looking To Start A Basement Garden?
Just looking into starting a small basement garden for my wife (as a birthday gift) and I’m just looking for some ‘odds and ends’info that is hard to find on just a Google search.

You will want to make sure that you have a way to measure humidity near your garden. You don't want it below 40 or 50 percent, but you don't want it to remain above 90 percent for too long.
Of course, it will depend on each plant, but this is a general consensus.
As long as you can maintain between 50 and 70 percent humidity, you should be fine. In fact, it may prove useful in keeping the humidity down when necessary.
