Can I Go A Rambutan In Lebanon?

Hi, today i bought 2 rambutan (rare fruit to find in this country) and saved the seeds. I got a paper towel got it wet and wrapped the seed around it and put it in a plastic bag. So i was wondering if i can plant this seed in Lebanon, a small country in the Mediterranean and if i can what should i do? Thank you
