I want to know if these are edible. I want to make a dish but I’m not sure if they are edible. I have a huge producing plant growing in my yard.

Though it doesn't look like a colocynth, there could have been some hybridization. These gourds are toxic, and contain chemicals known as cucurbitacins which are not able to be consumed by humans in those quantities. Having plants nearby can even make standard cultivars of squash produce toxic hybrid seeds. I would not recommend it.
