Q.Can I Bring A Potted Spruce Tree Inside For Winter?
I have a 2’6” White Spruce (Picea Glauca) in a pot. Can I take it inside for winter? We live in zone 3, and I know that white spruce tolerates the cold well. Thinking of using it for Christmas decoration, and then putting it back outside after the holidays are over. Will the temperature shock of going from outside to inside and back outside damage it? Also how do I care for it inside?

You would have to make sure the needles didn't dry out. It would need to be kept away from heating vents and kept watered.
If you only kept it inside a week or so it will fare better than a month inside.
