Q.can i air layer an old jade tree at the middle of the trunk to shorten it
the jade tree is about 30 yrs old . the trunk has gotten long and is out of proportion . would like to shorten it thanks

If you intend to root the top in this fashion, then it is quite possible that it will work. It will destroy the shape of the root mass of the original, but it will shoot new sprouts at the bottom and be more "bushy".
