Q.Can Anyone Identify This Houseplant?

I was pleased when this houseplant unexpectedly came into bloom. It’s possibly a succulent with cactus-like leaves. A curious feature is that the flowers emerge from the tip of the leaf, as can be seen in the photo I’ll try to post. Can anyone identify the plant?

It looks like you have an Easter cactus (Rhipsalidopsis gaertneri) that blooms in late winter or early spring. It is similar to the Christmas cactus and Thanksgiving cactus that are popular holiday plants. Here is more information on all of them:
