Q.Can a well established jade plant be kept outside in the summer
I want to keep my large potted jade plant out by grill in the summer.
Your jade will love it outside for the summer. It might even flower for you. For best results, give it a little time to acclimatize to the bright light -- in other words, if it will be in the sun for part or all of the day, move it from indoors to its outdoor spot in 2 or 3 stages, with more light at each spot. A week in each position should be enough. Do the same thing in reverse when you bring it in for the winter.
