Zone 12580 | Anonymous added on June 9, 2021 | Answered

I have a 2 foot smoke tree in a container and it’s doing great. Can I bring it inside during the winter or does it have to go into the dormant stage?

You can put it in a garage for the winter to protect the roots from severe weather. Water it lightly about once a month. Too much water will cause root rot. Then return it outside in the spring.
