calla lilies

what soil do they like? keep in pots or plant outside? (i am in northern CA) ZONE 9a

Calla lily likes consistently moist, well-draining soil. The clump will slowly enlarge as the rhizome gets bigger every year. My calla do fine in clay amended with peat moss.
