Q.Cabbages being eaten- what is eating them..?
I have slug pellets down – rodents traps out – butterfly nets up – and sprayed the cabbages but still they are being eaten alive. What is eating them please help this is the 2nd year this has happened and I am giving up. Cauliflower / Canbages and broccoli being eaten and I can get a hold of what is doing it.

Hm... This appears to be fertilizer, or fungus related. What kind, and how much fertilizer do you use? Sometimes these symptoms can come with overtertilization, or from the garden receiving too much water or remaining too wet for too long.
In case it is an insect infestation, I will include a collection of articles that will help you to combat pests, naturally. You may likely have most of these in your kitchen already!

Many thanks, I am considering getting a tunnel net because this is the 2nd year I ha e tried to grow cabbages and they get eaten and after spending months doing the soil I and really fed up losing them.
So thanks I will get a tunnel net. I have be out today and I have not found 1 caterpillar- not one over 40 plants.
I think it could be rats eating them.

Your netting looks like bird netting. Small white moths lay eggs on cabbage, broccoli, etc. These hatch to voracious green caterpillars. BT, Bacillus thuringiensis is a bacterium that destroys the caterpillars (aka cabbage worms) but is safe for humans. Any store that has a large number of garden supplies should stock this. Consider replacing your netting with row cover or netting with very small openings, no more than 1/8 inch. You may be able to find this at a fabric store.

Hi thank you for the response.
The changes are frantic and over night or when I go to work I see the changes daily. They are being eaten.
There is no fungus nor is there any cabbage leaf left beside the plant itself.
I really like to say great, but the changes are so dramatic and visible and being eaten.
What I did notice this morning was one of my mouse traps had been taken out of the veggie patch and half way up my garden set off so maybe this is rats eating them and I need a bigger trap.
