CA bird of paradise leaf propagation

Question

I read your article on CA Bird of Paradise and how you usually just split it or plant seeds.
Have you tried leaf propagation and if you did, how did it go?

I'm no aware of leaf cutting propagation for Bird Of Paradise and did not find any information on this as a propagation method in my research.

Many gardeners love to experiment so if you have the time; no harm!
