Q.Burning bush

Zone Grand Rapids, MI | sallyluidens added on November 11, 2016 | Answered

I have just printed your articles “Pruning a Burning Bush” and “Burning Bush Relocation.” I need to do both. Can I do the rejuvenation pruning and the root pruning at the same time in the spring, and then move them in the fall?

Yes, that is a good plan. It will give the plant time to recover from the pruning by fall and grow more roots that it can take with it when it is transplanted.
