Q.Bug on Zucchini Plant

Anonymous added on August 15, 2011 | Answered

The leaves on my zucchini plant are covered with small, roundish, white bugs with black legs. I have a picture I can send. Do you know what they are and what I do to get rid of them? I prefer to not use pesticides.

Some common zucchini pests include cut worms, cucumber beetles, squash bugs, vine borers, spider mites, aphids and whiteflies. Most zucchini pests can be controlled with regular applications of insecticidal soap or organic pesticides like neem oil (which I prefer). Here is more information on neem oil: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm
