Browning Kiwi Plant

Question

Last summer my kiwi got spider mites. I treated it with neem and all the leaves fell off during winter. About 3 weeks ago it sprouted all new leaves and looked really healthy. I was so happy! Suddenly the leaves all developed these brown patches. I can’t see any signs of mites now. The only stupid thing I did was painted the shed walls with non toxic paint (but it did smell a bit) the plant was in the shed. Could it be this? Please help, I really want to save it. Thank you in advance.

It could be under irrigation which can cause sunburned leaves. These articles should help:
