Q.brown areas of my Norway Spruce
I live in central Massachusetts and have two 35 ft spruce trees that are growing into each other, planted 15 ft apart. On the southern side of these trees, is a 15 ft white pine that is growing into both. If I remove a 15 ft pine from in front of my spruce trees, will the brown areas of the spruce limbs come back to life and turn green again once they get the sun they need? Thanks!

The browning needles can be caused by several issues and needing more sunlight may not be the issue.
The most likely cause is winter burn but disease and pests can also be the cause.
These links will help you pinpoint the issue.
