Brazilian Lucky Wood Plant How Can I Get One Without Leaves To Sprout It’s

I have one that has two stalks it had dry roots but stalk is green under skin how do I get sprouts to grow because it is a 2 foot log, will they start on there own,? How can I get them to sprout leaves again
