Boiling Water Killed Grass Can It Grow Back Or Do I Have To Re Seed?

I recently cleaned my patio and used boiling water but some of the water has got onto the grass and killed parts of it. Will this grass grow back or will I have to re-seed the area? Thanks for your help Jordan

Sometimes it takes more than one application of boiling water to kill the roots, too. I would wait a while and see if it returns or the nearby grass fills in.
