Blooming night weed?

Question

I had a plant that grew in my last yard in Phoenix. It only bloomed while bell type flowers at night and the next day they would wilt. The next night I had a whole new bunch that would bloom. They also had a ball attached to the stem that was very spikey and if you opened it, it had a ton of seeds. Might anyone know what this was? I heard it was actually a weed but it wouldn’t really matter to me. I don’t have an image because I no longer live there but I would like to see if I can find it somewhere for where I live now.

I think your are referencing Night Blooming Datura.
