Q.Blight On Tomatoes?
My tomatoes were thriving until July and they developed dried looking leaves starting from the bottom and working their way up to the top of the plants now. How would I get rid of this next year and can I plant tomato plants in the same soil next year? Many years ago I believe they called this blight? Here’s my photo please advise. Thank you very much

It could be any number of wilting diseases and it will be best to not plant tomatoes in the same place for at least a year, maybe two. Next year, buy disease resistant plants. Here is more about wilting diseases:

I wouldn't reuse the soil. In fact, I would use a different container, altogether, and use fresh soil in it.
To avoid this in the future- Make sure that your container has drainage holes that allow all extra water to leave it, freely. Make sure to allow the soil to dry out down to about 2 or 3 inches between waterings.
