Apricot Trees

Q.Blenheim Apricot Tree New Growth Dying Back.

I have a 5 or 6 year old apricot tree. It had a good bloom this year, but now sections of the tree are dying off. There are also areas where the bark is splitting on the branches. See attached pictures. Thanks for your help. Ken Hubert

I think there are separate issues, here. One seems to be Phytopthora. Treatment is quite difficult, but not impossible. Here is an article that will help:
