Q.Blackberry Pruning

Zone Town | FetchMeMyTools added on July 28, 2020 | Answered

I have trained a wild blackberry over a bench arbour, and am getting promising fruiting this year. However there are also very very strong and vigorous but non fruit bearing arms; do i cut these back or let them be? Are they going to be the fruit bearing arms next year?

You will want to leave them alone for now. Those will be your fruit bearing canes next year.
