Q.Black Growth On My Plum Tree.

Im trying to find out what the black growth is on my plum tree. I would like to know what I should do to fix the problem. Thank you.

This looks like black knot fungus. It is very common in plums, and other related species. Control is quite difficult. You will need to remove any infected growth, and treat with fungicides, near constantly. This can be permanent, as well. Replacing the tree with something else from outside of the Prunus genus would be a more permanent option for control.
