Q.Black Discs on Leaves

Anonymous added on May 17, 2015 | Answered

I have tiny (2-3 mm) black discs on my pepper leaves. They are also on the ground under the plants in groups of tiny clusters of “bowls” with the discs in them. What are they and should I remove them?

I have given this considerable thought and feel that the tiny clusters of "bowls" with the discs in them are some type of insect eggs. Without a photograph I am unfortunately unable to identify what insect, however.
