Bishops Weed

Question

What is the best way to get rid of bishops weed. Pulling it up or digging it leaves too many little roots that get even bigger next year. Will round up work? Thanks

This article says herbicides only work on new growth so wait till spring to spray or wait till after it is mowed. Glyphosate will probably work better than other weed killers. The rhizomes are difficult for herbicides to penetrate. You may have to spray more than once.
